Stephanie Aretz has extensive experience working for the benefit of the immigrant community, and is a tireless advocate for her clients. As the Managing Partner of Aretz & Company Immigration, Ms. Aretz most enjoys working closely with clients and their families to find creative solutions to the most complicated immigration problems. She has extensive Spanish language training. Ms. Aretz earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and is licensed to practice law in the State of Colorado.
Before becoming the Managing Partner of Aretz & Company Immigration, Ms. Aretz gained valuable experience volunteering with Amnesty International USA, the Rocky Mountain Survivors Center, and the Rocky Mountain Immigrant Advocacy Network (RMIAN). Ms. Aretz has served on the RMIAN Board of Directors since March of 2015. Currently, Ms. Aretz is representing RMIAN as a selected participant of the 2019-2020 Rose Community Foundation Nonprofit Endowment Cohort She is also a volunteer attorney for RMIAN, representing pro bono clients since 2011.
Ms. Aretz enjoys mentoring other attorneys who are new to the practice of law, or new to immigration law. She currently sits on RMIAN’s Mentoring Panel, assisting and teaching other pro bono attorneys. Recently, Ms. Aretz completed the Colorado Attorney Mentoring Program, building a professional relationship with a newly licensed attorney. Ms. Aretz’ professional memberships include the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the Minoru Yasui Inn of Court.
Ms. Aretz is a Denver, Colorado, native and proud of it. In her free time, Ms. Aretz enjoys spending time with her husband, her two sons, and her dog. She also enjoys practicing yoga, ballet, rock climbing, cycling, and cooking.
